To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to express my total satisfaction with Paul Lamastra. Throughout the entire process Paul was professional, conscientious and motivated. I always felt like we were his only client. Initially we were uncertain of the asking price (higher than we thought it should be), but Paul did his due diligence and proved us wrong! Consequently, within 90 days of listing the house, it sold for more than we expected. Something else I never even considered when giving the listing to Paul, is his vast network of contractors. He knows someone to fix anything that may come up on your inspection report (and there will be repairs needed - no matter how great you think your house is!). All the contractors we needed (plumbers, electricians, handymen, chimney sweeps, etc.) responded immediately to Paul. They showed up at our house on time and were very reasonably priced! Paul was recommended to me by a friend and I could not have been more pleased with my experience. Prior to engaging Paul, I already knew what my house was worth in the current market as I had my own appraisal done. When Paul came to the house, he spent time going through all of NJ's guidelines on selling a home so that I would not be surprised by any of the closing cost. He was also very honest on what he could afford to take as a commission and the number was better than what I was given by anyone else. I wanted to sell my home quickly but I did not want to give it away either. Paul took this into consideration and after a few days of doing his research he came back with a number. We did talk about many different values, as he was conflicted on what he should really suggest, but in the end he came in at the same value as the independent appraiser. Once I signed, Paul arranged for the stager (highly recommend doing this) and photographer. His choices were great and they made my house look amazing. When Paul and I finally decided to list the property, it went in three days for a value higher than the asking price. We had went with the value that would get the house sold with the hope that it would result in a higher price. That technique worked in my situation. I have sold a number of homes and have found that listening to the Realtor works the best. Paul has great knowledge of the area as well as good techniques that result in a sale of your home.
